19 Dec FRIDAY SESSION | III EDITION EMERALD GOLF TOUR SEVILLA
The experience started on Friday, November 30th, the day before the competition, with the practice round. Both players and companions came in the morning in Mercedes Benz´s private cars.
At the course´s hospitality área, the hostesses gave each of the attendants a detailed program of the experiences that they would live over the course of the weekend, and a key that opened their personalized locker filled with ”Welcome to the EMERALD GOLF TOUR” Gifts.
Additionally, our sponsor Audemars Piguet gave each of the attendants a sleeve of personalized Taylormade TP5 golf balls.
After enjoying a wonderful breakfast at the Player´s Lounge, the players headed to the personalized practice spots, where incredible experiences, just like those at the European Tour, awaited for them, experiences like a multi-brand fitting (provided by Golf Estudio), like the SAM Putt Lab putting studio and many instructors to counsel them on any technical/golf-related doubt that could arise.
Following this, the players had their first contact with the golf course, which had a few surprises waiting for them, two “Beat the Pro” challenges where they competed against touring professionals.
At the same time, the companions were enjoying a Welcome Brunch, where they had the first contact with the kind of experience that was awaiting for them on Saturday, full of activities and workshops.
Once the practice round was over, the players were shuttled to the Hotel where they would stay for the weekend, the “Eurostars Torre Sevilla”, where they had another welcoming present waiting for them, which consisted of a painting of one of the holes of the Real Club Sevilla Golf and a pair of cufflinks.
At 21:00 the cocktail prior to the Gala Dinner started.
It was our master of ceremonies, Miguel Primo de Rivera, the person in charge of putting a start to the dinner at one of the hotel´s event romos, where the attendants could enjoy the best views of the city of Sevilla.
During the course of the dinner, the course´s characteristics were explained, detailing every single hole with 360 Virtual Reality technology, so no doubt on how to attack every single of the 18 challenges that the course had for the players.
To finish our Friday session, we had the unexpected performance of Cole Page, who encouraged the rest of the attendants to perform with him numerous songs. The final performance for the night was for an acrobatic performer, who combined the most authentic Andalucian Flamenco with some outstanding and risky movements and balances.
